This is my first attempt at smoke photography and it was sooooo relaxing. The result, as well as an extremely low resting heart rate, was the following elegant images. Ensuring the smoke was lit correctly, without lighting the backdrop, was the hardest part. It is important to position the light from the side whilst stopping the light flooding to the sides. I aim to use a a spill of some description next time. For now, thanks to photoshop, I was able to achieve the deep, black background and the crisp, ghostly shapes from the smoke.
